As we get ready for Mother’s Day this weekend (that’s right, call your mother – tell her you love her), we wanted to do a special shout out to all the parents who bring their children to our events.

As we get ready for Mother’s Day this weekend (that’s right, call your mother – tell her you love her), we wanted to do a special shout out to all the parents who bring their children to our events.

Every month we have parents email us asking if children are able to attend #HashtagLunchbag events.  Our answer is always a resounding YES! Our goal is to create communities centered on giving, so what better group to instill this giving mindset in than the children? After all, they are the future! If we stay mindful not only of the world that we’re handing off to the next generation, but also the hands that we’re handing the world over to, we know that we must show the children in our lives how to be living through giving.

We see all the time in the funniest of ways how children pick up everything that we do, so let’s make sure they pick up how to be kind to themselves and those in their community. Plus, there’s nothing cuter than a love note going into a lunch bag that you know came from the creative, loving mind of a child.
