HashtagLunchbagBHE_Hollywood Update:

Our first HashtagLunchbag was a success. Thank you to all of our students, parents, teachers and staff who participated. A special thank you to our administration for their support and promotion of HashtagLunchbagBHE_Hollywood. With your help we donated 208 bagged sandwich meals to the Broward Outreach Center in Hollywood. Way to Go Bobcats! Our next event will be on the second week in January 2017.

K-2 students at Boulevard Heights Elementary will participate in a Just Read, Florida! school Literacy-Civics project on Friday December 9th, 2016. This initiative is to "promote good citizenship and enhance literacy in our school" which is the focus of this project. Parents and volunteers will assist in making bagged sandwich meals and inserting inspirational messages for the homeless in Broward County. This community-wide event will coincide with the end of Inclusive Schools Week within Broward County Public Schools.

Boulevard Heights Elementary is a Title I school in Hollywood, FL with a very diverse student population. One of our core beliefs is that "we must treat all individuals with respect and dignity." This holiday season our students will pay it forward in the community by teaming up with our parents, teachers and our business partners to make a difference for those less fortunate.

• Canned goods
• Brown lunch bags
• Sandwich bags
• Food Safety gloves
