KALI' RED'S 37TH BIRTHDAY FEED THE HOMELESS EVENT: YOU'RE INVITED TO HELP ME CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY, BY GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!

I hope all is well… My name is Yana “Kali’ Red” Sutton, I am the Founder and President of Kali’ Red’s Initiative: Take Your Life Back Foundation (TYLBF), for victims and survivors of domestic violence; I have been crowned as New Orleans first official Humanitarian – Socialite for Society, known in our City and beyond as “The Kali’ Red Experience”, I’m an Advocate/Program Navigator, and I’m also heavily involved in various sectors of collaborative-community leadership.

For the past six years, each year on December 11^th (which is also my birthday); I host a huge community “Feed the Homeless” event, that is held on my favorite street in the City, Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. My main goal for holding this event is to give back to the less fortunate from the heart, to continue my mission of raising awareness on the social issues of homelessness, domestic violence with the serious linkage to poverty affecting all age groups; while bringing people together to educate them on solutions to help reverse, and cease the harsh realities.

I normally fund this event on my own, but each year the crowd mass has grown larger. Therefore, the event runs out of food and personal sanitary items quickly; which makes it disappointing to not be able to take care of the entire crowd. However, this year I want to ensure that we have adequate amounts of food, and supplies to serve as many homeless attendees as possible.

(TYLBF) is 501-c3 approved and certified organization. I’m writing this letter to ask if my nonprofit can be considered a candidate to receive sponsorship, (or) any type donation assistance?
