The Dallas Mavericks will stay at home another game and welcome the Los Angeles Clippers at 2:30 p.m. ET Jan. 22 at American Airlines Center. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Dallas made easy work of the Miami Heat this past Friday and carried off a 115-90 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mavericks had established a 92-67 advantage. It was another big night for their point guard Luka Doncic, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and finished with a double-double on 34 points and 12 boards along with seven assists.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Clippers beat the San Antonio Spurs 131-126 this past Friday. Los Angeles' small forward Kawhi Leonard did his thing and had 36 points and seven assists.

Dallas is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Denver Nuggets Nov. 20 easily too and instead slipped up with a 98-97. In other words, don't count Los Angeles out just yet.
