Switzerland goes for its third straight win on Tuesday when it plays Kazakhstan in group play of the 2023 IIHF World Championship. The Swiss team comes into the game after two straight wins to start the tournament. They have not only won the games, but they have yet to give up a goal. They disposed of Slovenia 7-0 in the opener and then took care of Norway 3-0 in the second game. Denis Malgin led the way in the first game scoring two goals and Nino Niederreiter has scored a single goal in both games. They will look to be just as good on Tuesday as they look to upend Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan enters Tuesday 1-1 after it got a come-from-behind shootout win over Norway in the first game and then suffered a 5-1 loss to Czechia on Sunday.
Kazakhstan trailed 3-1 in the second period against Norway, but Valeri Orekhov scored with five mutes left in the second and Nikita Mikhailis tied it 11 minutes into the third. They would then take the game in a shootout for a huge win.
