Hashtag Lunchbag DC

                        Please join Hashtag Lunchbag DC on Sunday, April 24, 2016! We welcome you all to come out and support this great initiative, as we provide a nutritious meal, words of encouragement, and a smile to the homeless population of Washington, D.C. We will meet in downtown DC at Bar Louie, which is located at 701 7th Street NW Washington, DC (inside of Gallery Place). Promptly, at 11 am we will begin assembling the lunches, followed by distributing them to a local homeless shelter as well as a few other locations.  

We are kindly asking for a $10 donation to go toward the cost of food. You may make this donation by either purchasing a ticket via this eventbrite page or the day of the event in cash.

In addition to passing out lunches, we are teaming up with another social movement called,  #HappyPeriod their mission is to provide menstrual hygiene products to the homeless who wold otherwise go without. We will be collecting feminine hygiene donatinos to distribute to the women shelter. Needed items include: pads, tampons, liners, underwear, wipes and a bar of soap.
