#Hashtaglunchbag is a movement dedicated to utilizing social media to bring awareness to and eliminate hunger in local communities. The movement was born on Christmas Day 2012 in a Los Angeles apartment with just a small group of friends looking for a way to give back. The intent was to simply prepare and deliver food to their local homeless community, but with social media serving as a platform to share ones daily activities, this group of friends quickly found that they had not just fed some people that day, but instead had started a nationwide, now worldwide, movement of charitable acts.

Here in Miami we are trying to bring awareness one lunchbag and we can only do it with YOUR help! 

This month we are coming together on 4/22/17- EARTH DAY for a special edition where we will be having our regular assembly, packaging and distribution of love vessels (lunchbags). After the distribution all volunteers interested in coming out to PSU, a community in Liberty City, can join us for a day of gardening in the neighborhoods community space center.
