A Day of Service at Acacia Magnet School
Posted by Beth Neal | On December 21, 2018
Join the Acacia Magnet School Families, Conejo Community Outreach and our Norman Avenue Neighbors as we host a Day ON instead of a Day OFF for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. In the true spirit of Dr. King, we are joining together to help others in need by giving them a simple gesture of lunch and love to the underserved in Ventura County. Join us, remember what this day is truly for and help us help others in the spirit of the holiday.
This is a FAMILY event! There is plenty to do, from decorating lunch bags and writing tiny notes of encouragement to slicing tomatoes and packing lunches. We will also need drivers to deliver the lunches.
We are looking for donors! If you or your company would like to donate lunch products to the event (bread, cookies, lunch meats, waters, etc.) please email us at [email protected] and we will give you a list of what is still needed.
