New city spotlight on…Milwaukee! 

New city spotlight on…Milwaukee! It never ceases to be exciting to see a new chapter pop up spreading love and giving back to their community. Recently, this group got together made enough sandwiches, cheese, chips, snacks and drinks to feed 200 people. They then took to the streets of Milwaukee to look for those who may be in need of a meal.

Given to quotes we read in the WISN 2 news feature highlighting their event, the organizers of this event couldn’t be more in line with the mission of #HashtagLunchbag and the Living Through Giving Foundation.

“Obviously, we're not going to solve the world's hunger by making sandwiches and distributing them today,” said organizer Juliet Amene, “But at the same time, it will at least brighten someone's day. Make them feel cared for, make them feel loved."

“People walk away smiling, they feel good,” said organizer Flow Johnson, “And usually they just want someone to talk to. They chat it up for a little bit, and I’m a big fan of that."
